Most of us have fathers in our lives, be it our own parent, partner, friend, etc. so I have compiled a list of gifts sure to please. Some of these gifts are geared for readers, pop culture lovers, and some are just great items that I know the men in my life have loved.

  1. Audiobook Subscription Service. If you are looking to gift the reader in your life something, I strongly recommend one (or both) of these two amazing audiobook companies.

Audible has a monopoly on the audiobook world. They offer exclusive content and built in free audiobooks for subscribers. Click here to purchase a gift subscription.

Libro.fm is a great option for someone who loves to support local and small business. This audiobook subscription service works closely with independent bookstores and uses part of their profits to help support them. Click here to purchase a gift subscription.

2. Literary & Pop Culture Candles.

If you have a horror lover in your life, look no further than the hand-poured candles made by The Smell of Fear. Every month the candlemaker switches her stock to a different theme. May 2021 is Now Is the Month of Monsters featuring candles inspired by: Jurassic Park, The Loch Ness Monster, Sasquatch, Werewolves, Stranger Things, Jaws, Young Frankenstein, It, throwbacks like Count Chocula, Boo Berry, or FrankenBerry, and more!

I have a discount code to share with you all for these creepy candles: BEKKA15 will give you 15% off your order. Click here to check out these spooky and punny delights.

3. Pop Culture Shirts, Hats, and Art.

I love buying my husband shirts from Gallery94. They fit well and they feature beautiful artwork of his beloved Star Wars. He now has a shirt for Endor, Hoth, and Tattooine (if you know, you know). They fit very well, and I plan on getting him an Avatar: the Last Airbender shirt soon, yip yip!

4. A Book, or Three, or More!

I have compiled a Father’s Day Gift Guide on bookshop.org. Click here to peruse it. I am passionate about shopping through Bookshop.org, as they support independent bookstores.

Although it’s nearly impossible to choose my top 3 picks from the list above are:

I. Civil War Volumes 1-3 Box Set by Shelby Foote

I bought this gorgeous box set for my husband’s uncle. He absolutely loved reading about the Civil War from noted historian Shelby Foote. Incredibly, to me, he is already talking about re-reading it. I call that a win!

The set can be found in my bookshop.org list above, or you can click here to shop it from Amazon.

II. The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien

This is one of my all time favorite series, so I am going to share two sets that I know would make great gifts.

This paperback set is available from Bookshop.org and is on my curated list (above) and it is also available from Amazon here.

I am also sharing the link to this gorgeous hardcover box set that is available from Amazon. From reviews, it looks like some editions of the book have illustrations and some do not. As a Tolkien lover, I would be happy with this set either way, but if you are shopping for a collector it may require more research. Click here to shop the set.

III. Darth Bane Star Wars Trilogy by Drew Karpyshyn

I put these books on my bookshop.org list, and they are available as a bundle from Amazon here.

My husband is a huge Star Wars fan and these are his favorite books. I am planning on doing a Star Wars post in the near-ish future on great places to hop into the Star Wars literary universe. Years back my husband wanted to do just that and being the awesome wife that I am (but really just wanting him to read more) I did a ton of research and after talking through a few options I had found he decided to go with this trilogy.

Set long before The Star Wars movies, this trilogy follows Darth Bane as he sets up the Sith rule of two. On a scale of how much my husband loves these books — I ended up including part of the rule of two oath in my bookish wedding decor *rolls eyes* (more on my bookish wedding in a future post too!).

This is a great gift for someone who loves the movies and may want to explore the rich universe in a different way.

5. Sudio Earbuds & Speakers

I highly recommend the Sudio wireless earbuds and speakers. I have the Ett and love them, but have also heard great things about the Tolv earbuds. I love that they come in many colors and going to wireless earbuds has been life changing. I use these for listening to audiobooks and music, but I can also take phone calls on them as well.

Check out their website here & save with my coupon code BEKKA15.

6. Vionic Men’s Sandals — Designed by a Podiatrist!

I bought these sandals for my husband’s uncle a year ago. He lives in Florida and wears them almost daily. I was shocked to see in a recent visit that they are holding up incredibly well. He says that they have helped with back pain (the main reason I selected them).

These flip flops are designed by a podiatrist and have received the APMA (American Podiatric Medical Association) Seal of Acceptance. Shop them here.

7. DesignDifferent — Pop Culture Prints and Posters

Years ago I won cool wife points for getting my husband this Terminator inspired print. We also have some of the quote prints and they look lovely framed above our bed.

From pop culture prints to inspirational quotes, shop their selection here.

8. Flasks, Belts, Bookmarks & More from Porter & Hazel

I bought this Lord of the Rings inspired flask for a friend a few years back and it was so lovely I didn’t want to give it up — but I did!

With Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Bible, and customizable items these leather goods make lovely gifts. Shop their store here.

9. Plant Stand for a Plant Dad!

I am currently obsessed with plants, and we recently purchased this plant stand. My husband set it up and agreed that for the cost it was a good find. I love the roof and fence features, that it has wheels, and it fit our space perfectly.

Shop the plant stand here.

10. Items for Mr. Fix It

My husband is a Mr. Fix It and an amateur wood worker, so I am sharing a few of his favorite items here.

I. Bucket Boss

I have been told that you can never have enough buckets, so for this gift I would pick one up from Ace, Lowes, or Home Depot and add this great item to it.

My hubby loves to fill up his Bucket Boss with tools for whatever project he is working on. It’s a great organizational system and very affordable.

Shop it here.

II. Ear Protection

My husband uses these when he is doing woodworking, but they can also be used at the gun range. Shop them here.

III. Tool Chest

There are so many different sizes, colors, and options when it comes to tool chests, but this is similar to the one my husband has and he absolutely loves it. Shop it here.

IV. Shop Vac

We have this shop vac from Stanely and it performs beautifully. If your handy person doesn’t have a shop vac yet, I highly recommend this one! Shop it here.

V. Pegboard Organization

My hubby received this set as a Christmas gift this past year and he’s obsessed! It comes in variety of colors, sure to please the tool lover in your life. Shop it here.

No matter what gift you choose, I hope that you have an amazing holiday with your loved one when the day comes along. Get to shopping, June is almost here!
